I’m not 100% sure what you’re asking, but I’ll try to answer.

If you stay in the venue where the wedding is being held the night before, I don’t think you need the car. If you need the car just to pick your parents up, why don’t you see if the car service will do point to point delivery for a flat fee?

@LoveandMarriage:  you don’t need a car. just stay in the hotel your wedding is being held in, since money is an issue for your parents.

@LoveandMarriage:  I think I know you what you mean/how you feel.  My family lives about an hour away from our venue, but we’re going to try and do an early check-in to our hotel on the wedding day so we can get ready for the wedding, so in reality, we don’t need a vehicle either (our ceremony site and reception are pretty much right next door to each other, so having a vehicle for us and our bridal party seems to be a waste, and so $$$).

Renting a car on priceline would be much cheaper than staying at a hotel. I’d recommend renting a car and staying at a cheaper nearby hotel. How will you get home? You don’t want to worry about driving an hour the day of your wedding. On priceline you can rent a car for between 10-50 depending on availibility. Hotels can become similarly cheap.

Edit: try using priceline to get your fancy expensive hotel on discount. There are guides found by a quick google search to help you do it.

Skip the car-not worth the cost.

Oh that’s cool. Yah sounds like you can’t go wrong. You could try doing some research to see if you can get the fancy hotel for much cheaper. We once stayed in a $800 room for $130 a night.
