Okay first of all the best man is suppose to be the one who plans the bachelor party not your fiance or you for that matter.

For your bachelorotte party, your moh and your bridesmaid are suppose to plan that event for you. Talk to your bridesmaid and tell them what kind of party you would like to have. For your son you can always get a babysitter for one night.

senia419:  It sounds like your Maid/Matron of Honor means well, but she’s asking you to compromise (come to her for the bridal shower and the bachelorette). You should speak with her to tell her how inconvienent it will be for you and your guests to drive 2 hours just for her convienence. And how you would like the other women in your bridal party to be a part of the bachelorette.

If you are really feeling depressed, is there a professional you can speak to? Perhaps someone you spoke to when you were depressed when you were younger.
