If they are two separate celebrations, you should have two separate invites. 

I got an invite from a friend a couple of years ago for his destination wedding.  It was the usual invite, with a reception card and an rsvp card.  They also included another card that said (I can’t exactly remember the exact words), “A wedding celebration will be held in Los Angeles, California in July 2007.  Invitation to follow.”  It went something like that…

I thought it was really great that they let us know right off the bat the they will have a celebration here in our city.  In my case, I was in a tight budget then but I still wanted to attend their wedding.  It was great knowing right away that I won’t have to spend that money for travel because they were gonna have one here.
