I found this photo online to use for inspiration for the reception centerpieces. The colors will be similar, but our florist is using different flowers to coordinate with our wedding color, Persian plum. Instead of the clear glass, we’re going to be using mercury glass and half of the centerpieces will be tall and half will be short. Here’s my dilemma….should we go with the pearls draping from the tall centerpieces or no? I’d appreciate any input! Thanks for the help!

aimee827: Personal preference, I think they look nicer more put together without them. Sometimes less is more.

aimee827: I’m personally not a fan of anything hanging from a tall centerpiece. It obscures the view of others across the table and takes away from the floral arrangement. I’d say leave them off!

I had pearls hanging from mine. I think it is so elegant looking!! Love it!

What gorgeous centerpieces! I think I’d prefer it without the pearls, but either will be lovely.
