Ok, So we are finding ourselves in a little bit of a jam. Our ceremony site won’t play our music for our ceremony for us. They do have a sound system which takes cd, mp3 etc… but no one to switch the music, turn it on, etc. What would you suggest? We will not be having live music, it most likely will be burned onto a cd. What do you suggest? Please help!!!

Can you just have a family member or close friend be there to turn on the music at the right time? I would have them at the rehearsal so they will know when to start the music.

@MrsSaltWaterTaffy: that’s an excellent idea, I don’t know why i didn’t think of that. my only fear is having too long of music for bridal party, etc and having to wait for bridal music etc to play.

Hmm, maybe they could skip to the next track after the bridesmaids have finished walking? But then you have to hope they don’t cut it off too abruptly and having it sound funny.

I think we are just having a family member with a CD player, we are getting married in a gazebo outside. You could have the person who’s controlling it just fade the song but turning the volume down maybe as the last Bridesmaid or Best Man is getting to the end.
