Need some help… Our Wedding is scheduled for a Sat in June. 2012 We have already booked a reception with cescaphe – the new Tendenza location, but need a ceremony location. I’m looking for something that is not a church, can accommodate about 160 guests, and has a back up plan for rain if its outdoor. Trying to keep it affordable!!!! and in the philly area because we have a lot of out of towners who don’t know their way around.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!

It really depends on your budget. Are you looking to do something close to your reception area? Most of the museums in the city have both indoor and outdoor accomodations for ceremonies. So does the horitculture center (they do beautiful weddings). There is the Water Works or City Hall.

I believe Tendenza now does ceremonies. Have you found a place yet? It’s an additional $5.00 per guest.

I am in the same boat. My reception is June 2012 in north east Phila right on the blvd. Now i need an AFFORDABLE ceremony location that wont get my guests lost or make them travel too far. Suggestions are greatly appreciated.

@emp1284: I’m pretty positive that Tendenza does ceremonies…FH’s parents went to a wedding there in August and I think everything was there.
ETA: Sorry, maybe I misread – if you’re getting married at cescaphe, I think they do ceremonies there too – FH’s parents have also been to a wedding there also (it was 3 years ago though)
