Hello fellow bees, I’m in dire need of some help…..
My October wedding is quickly aproaching, and I can’t settle on my centerpieces. I do know for a fact I don’t want flower centerpieces, I would like to do something different
My girls will be wearing black dresses with a peacock blue sash, my guys, in all black tuxes, and peacock blue vests)
Flowers aren’t set in stone, thinking I should do green, white, and purple flowers?
So what should I do for my centerpieces?? Anyone else done a wedding in these colors? I’d love to see pictures!
Thanks so much!

If you want to stay away from large floral centerpieces and their cost, you could use a collection of blue bottles in various sizes with just a single flower ( or a few).
This is an easy DIY. You can collect blue bottles-ask friends, family or our neighbourhood bar or pub to save them for you.
Things that come in blue bottles:
World Market has water that comes in 2 different sizes of blue bottle
wine bottles- there are several reislings and moscatos that come in blue bottles
Pommery Pop Champagne has the cute little 187 ml bottles

my colors are black and white with splashes of red and for my centerpieces I am doing tall black vases with red roses and black feathers in the middle, anc candles on the tables. Similar to this:
The black would make your colors pop!

If you want something modern and unique- you could get a bunch of bricks/stones… spray them black…. and then arrange them in a messy pyramid/pile…and put candles in differnet places on different levels. You could then add a single flower here and there, etc. The only problem is lugging the bricks to the reception. I wanted to do this but I didn’t feel like carrying 50 bricks over to the site. Maybe someone could help you?
