Hello Ladies! so I have decided to change my wedding colors once again{2nd time} First i wanted purple with black and white damask print…but i see it everywhere now so to be different i changed them to purple champagne and accents of bold black and white stripe, my question is….am i nuts??? can anyone else see the vision im going for or is it just…well..ugly????

Theme is something that i struggle with i want a feeling of romance yet keeping it a bit edgy my fi builds motorcycles for a living {and rocks a mohawk} so i need something that isnt to stuffy yet still romantic,.I also love lace and would love to incorperate that some how, any suggestions would be great!

I like it! I don’t necessarily think you have to have a “theme” but if I could call it anything I’d say something like “bold/graphic/romantic”? I think it’s nice to have the bold/graphic contrast with soft/romantic elements. Definitely like the sounds of this better than your original 🙂

I like those colors. More than the purple. I’m getting tired of purple.

I like your stripes idea — to me, if that’s the theme you’re going with, you’re embracing a very modern look — clean lines, not super fussy or frilly, which to me suggests that lace wouldn’t really fit. However, it’ll depend on how much you emphasize the stripes — big and bold vs. subtle accents. Do you have a dress yet?
