Getting married 9/5/10 so it’s hard to pick between fall colors or bright summer ones – we’r going with a more neutral pallete of champagne, pale pink & brown with green accents (mostly in floral arrangments). Here’s my 1st attempt at an inspiration board:

I had pink, brown (more of a coffee brown for the maid of honor), orange, and beige on my wedding day.  Here are some pics.  (By the way, the petals at the reception were fake silk flowers that I got at Michaels). Enjoy!

I’m having a gem tone rainbow (borrowed the idea from my mom, but didn’t want pastels)… Dark purple, wine red, emerald green, cobalt blue. One Bridesmaid or Best Man in each color with the Groomsmen vests/ties to match.

Although I’m having more of a fall wedding I’ve always loved bright colors. I love the colors of the gerbera daisys. I have the same idea stephk23 has. The Bm and matching Groomsmen each in a color. In general I love bright colors. Do you think bright colors are okay to do in a fall month?

Here are some ideas I came across that I liked. I dont know how to post the pictures on here. Sorry.

I would think the bright colors would be just fine for fall. The only possible conflict I could see would be if the leaves are really just starting to change and you’re having a lot of pictures taken outside.

Ny wedding is on September 25th in MD.  It’s kind of like late summer in MD at this point of time, so we’re sticking with the same colors as we would have used if we had a spring or summer wedding.

Our main colors are Fuschia and Gray, with touches of navy blue and yellow.  I know it sounds preppy, but we’re going with a whimsical feel.
