I think red and black can be anytime, but I personally like pink and brown better. If I were having a spring wedding, I would do mint green and pink! 🙂

Ooooh mint green, pink and ivory – could be very ethereal.  What sort of look are you going for?

go with the colors you love! i’m using spring colors for our feb. wedding. in florida it could feel like spring, but it might feel like winter. i figured i might as well be surrounded by colors that make me happy.

i went to a wedding last spring and they had red/black..it looked really pretty (btw the groom is a firefighter so that may have been a theme even though i did not see any ff stuff) bottowm line..it’s your wedding..dont worry about seasons..as long as you are not doing snowflakes in the middle of July..i wouldnt worry about it.

I really like brown and pink (they’re in my palette too), and the red and black would also be great! It’d give it a sophisticated look. I don’t think the month/season of your wedding have to impact your color scheme. I agree with artbee. Just go with what you love and makes you happy!!

i agree with elliemae – it’s your wedding, if those are the colors that you like, go for it!  I am sure that no one is going to say like, “oh man, how could she choose these colors for a spring wedding…” 😉

Yep I think go with the colors that you want.  People don’t care if it matches the season or not.  You just need to do what makes you and the Fiance happy

I have always liked red & black together. I think for an evening wedding it would still be appropriate but it might be a little much for a brunch/early afternoon wedding.
