I’m not a fan of black in the color scheme of weddings, no matter how formal. It doesn’t do anything for me and I know I’m in the minority. I like orange/grey/green! You can glam it up with the style of things.

I’m voting for the first option.  The other two seem more rusticy if you ask me… 🙂

@emilykav:  I’m doing orange/green/grey- it’s fantastic! Girls’ dresses are light grey (they  appreciate this much more than orange), their/my shoes are orange. My bouquet is orange (my favorite color, green is FI’s favorite.) Tables will have light grey covers, with orange/green napkins.

I am SO happy with our colors- it’s bright and has so many possibilities. (Our favors are  melon mango tic tacs- orange & green already combined)

I really like the grey/orange/green idea. You said black/orange/green and all I could thing of was Halloween… but I think the grey would be great. 🙂 I second the idea of grey dresses instead of orange, though.

i like the first one. i think they’re the best fit for a spring wedding.

orange and black remind me too much of halloween.

orange, grey, & green isn’t bad, but i’m not a huge fan of orange bridesmaid’s dresses.

Those are beautiful colors!. I think Teal & Black with splashes of Orange & Pink is the best in my opinion:

Teal bridesmaids dresses, black suits and the orange & pink flowers is the perfect match!

@emilykav:  The guys will probably be in black- who knows, Fiance hasn’t gone tux shopping yet (two months to go…the man needs to get his act together!)

Grey suits would look great for the guys, though- I’ve encouraged it, or at least a grey vest, but that one’s not my decision. 🙂

Do you know about The Perfect Palette blog?  I swear by it – it kept me sane while I was choosing colors for our wedding. http://www.theperfectpalette.com/

I like the orange grey green… it’ll look nice in an outdoor setting! I think grey suits outdoors look better than black suits do.
