    I think those colors sound fine for October. My wedding is in mid September and I’m doing pastels. I don’t care, and I can’t honestly think for the life of me that any of my guests will. Go with the colors you want. Hate to break it to you though, but unless you are super decisive you all will probably change your minds anyway as things get closer. : ) So many factors come into play as you get into the nitty gritty of planning. Always keep in mind it is YOUR wedding and noone will everyone fully have the same exact vision for it that you do. So do what you want!

    Don’t change it if that’s what you really want! Who cares if your colors aren’t “seasonal?” Mine aren’t either. Just got with it!

    Purple and blue are totally fine. You don’t have to express the season through your color scheme if you don’t want to! If you want to feel a bit autumnal without having reds and oranges, I vote for golds and browns for some accent colors — kind of like wheat and wood, which are very autumnal. Those colors would look lovely with purple and blue.
