I am in the same boat, was originally going to do a Winter Wonderland decor until I fell in love with black and white damask. I am doing black and white with green accents. I think the nice thing about black is that it’s timeless…it doesn’t matter what season it is! I say go for any of the accent colors you mentioned and it should be a very elegant color scheme.

or white, white, white

or white and blue

 

bottomline, you have to do what makes you happy

I think black and any bold color would look awesome for a winter wedding — black, white, and kelly green always look chic, In My Humble Opinion.

 

Like others before me have said, Do what makes you happy!!!! My mother initially HATED my color scheme (green and brown). I believe the term "moldy" came out of her mouth. LOL But I stuck by it and as the details formed, the colors have "grown" (haha, pun intended) on her. Seriously, if you love them, the people around you will learn to love them too!!!
