Hello everyone! As the title suggests, I need help picking my wedding colors. My fiancé and I have decided that Navy blue will be the main color but what should be the accent color(s)? I was thinking a deep orange but I also like gold. For reference we are having a fall wedding. I don’t necessarily think that the colors need to go with fall but my fiancé and I were thinking of having pumpkins at our barn wedding. Really not sure yet! Any pictures of decor, dresses, invitations would help! Thank you 🙂

I’ve always liked bronze/copper with navy blue.

Orange and blue are opposites on the color wheel so go well together. You could use a burnt orange too.
Gold is a metallic and metallics can be used with any colors. Copper would also look beautiful with navy and orange as copper has an orange undertone.

Fiance and I are getting married in late September and also wanted navy as the main color. Originally I was thinking navy, burnt orange, and burgundy to go with fall, but once we picked our venue we realized that those colors were not going to work. So we went with navy and gold with burgundy accents 🙂

Okay, I’m definitely on board for the navy/copper!

rather than just picking one other color, i’d opt for a “palette”. this will make it feel more sophisticated and less matchy-matchy kids bday party. the first palette that PP posted is beautiful – it allows for a range of oranges and metallics. if you prefer gold to copper, you can substitute gold in. it’s still a warm neutral and will blend nicely. every palette should include 1 metallic anyway – so either copper or gold is a good go-to.

I second most PP that a copper, burnt orange and pumpkin orange with your navy would look amazing! Great fall colors for sure.

I really appreciate all of the suggestions. We have decided that Navy blue and gold with accents of burnt orange will be really beautiful. I will post pics of what inspired my decision later…the website isn’t allowing me to post pictures right now for some reason.
