Were getting married this fall and im having such a hard time trying to figure out the “Style” and colors i want for my wedding. We are keeping it smaller with about 120 guests, not having a large bridal party just my maid of honor (sister) and fiances best man (his brother) I love everything and i think thats part of my problem, however were having our reception at a banquet hall and i keep feeling like what i invision doesnt flow with the hall for some reason. For example, it has crystal chandeliers so a rustic look seems like it wouldnt fit so well, or i love the idea of a vintage/romance with blush and champagne colors but the carpet is a blue and gold..maybe im just over thinking this all but i need some advice…pleasse 🙂 attached is a picture of the hall

Ignore the carpet. It’s dark and isn’t distracting. The flooring shouldn’t dictate your color pallet. Your centerpieces and the chandeliers will draw the eye upward anyways. I think the vintage them would be great. If you’re concerned though throwing in navy here and there would be beautiful and give a very 40’s feel.

Rustic/vintage/chic. The chandeliers are the chic! Use whatever you like-the room is a neutral.

honsestly NO ONE will notice the carpet. honestly we have a tally at work for how long it takes new employees to notice the carpet. It took me over a month….lol
Your colors will look lovely there… I think your over thinking it a bit 😛
