So, we already have a good idea of the colours we using. I know that it’s not a common colour combination…
The colour’s are basically
1. maroon (main colour)
2. dusty pink
3. what I’ve affectionately labelled as coffee rose (considering that this really is the colour of the roses we’re using)
4. a base of white (table cloths, chair covers, etc)
5. accents of silver.
I found the most adorable website to put together a colour palette and….
Here’s how it looks:

I like it, I decorated a very victorian looking christmas tree at work with those colors with the exception of the silver, we used gold.

I thin it’s lovely & will make for a very romantic color scheme!

I really like it! As the PP mentioned, it is romantic feel to it. There’s definitely a lot you could do with all those lovely colors.

All lovely colours, But i think it might be a bit too much. You will have a difficult time walking the fine line that is elegant and colour overload.

I love it! I think it will be beautiful and as others mentioned very romantic!

Awww thanks to everyone for the lovely comments
I know gold would have been the most common colour for the baseplates, etc. but I’m not a fan of gold and I’m trying for a bit of contrast – I prefer a “blue/pink” undertone to an “orange” undertone, hence the silver. Even the maroon is more pink than orange.
@Drummerbride, I don’t think it’s too much as it’s really only three colours (the maroon and the pinks). The white and silver are only for basics like linen, cutlery, etc.
We were originally going with maroon and cream, but that changed to white because it’s half the price of the cream when it comes to linen, and white and maroon looks too harsh. So I was looking for a “softener”, something to blen between the white and maroon and I think the pinks do that. Can’t wait to see it all come together!
