She probably wants to know you are 100 percent interested after hearing the price- since she is into pulling teeth. Do they have good reviews? I’d hate for your whole planning situation to be awkward and difficult!

Well if your not in a time crunch, keep working with her to get a contract! It will probably work out, maybe she just has a lot on her plate or is “that type” of woman. lol

I think this is a good indicator of what to expect when working with them (delayed responses etc). It’s tough to work with people who think they are too good to work with you. It’s much easier to work with someone who is providing better service. Just my thoughts.

Is she a wedding planner of the event co-ordinator?  I found that a lot of venues have event co-ordinators, but these people were really working for the venue and were only there to get venue stuff done.  They aren’t really there to help plan your wedding.  My venue has an event co-ordinator, but I also hired a wedding planner to help with all my details.

There are definitely a couple barns around here that the average person can’t book. You get access to them if you’re working with the right planner. It’s a little annoying, but I can see the owners’ position…they don’t want just anyone setting up shop on their land. They want to make sure someone they trust is overseeing everything.
