We spent approximately $10k, not including rings.  We had an intimate destination wedding in Cabo San Lucas of 27 people. We stayed 10 days. It was amazing

looking around £12K – £11K was the target. £5K gifted, £6K saved ourselves. But parents paid for my dress and photographer aswell. So lucky! <3

Our wedding budget max was $12,000.  We came in several hundred dollars under budget (woohoo!).

It looks like it will be about $50k for everything including honeymoon.  This is for a wedding of about 150ppl on the NE.

Right now we’ve spent around 150K, but we’re looking at around a little between 200k – 250K by the time everything’s taken care of.

Honeymoon costs not included. My parents are paying for the wedding, while my fiance and I are paying for our honeymoon. We’ll probably spent around 15K on the honeymoon.

We’re paying for the wedding ourselves, so trying to keep the budget as low as possible. Max we’re willing to spend is 8k. We’re in the early stages of planning so we shall see!

conejo55:  Ours was about 10K. It was a small wedding (only 24 guests including family) and we could have done the wedding for much less, but we had saved the money and both agreed that we wanted to have quite the party and have the wedding we wanted.

We’re looking at about $70k including the rehearsal dinner and the honeymoon (e-ring & my dress not included). Far more than I wanted to spend, but alas.

We’re paying for about 70% of it ourselves, so we’ve been doing some serious saving. I will say, it makes me realize that, if we are dedicated, we can pay off my student loans and save to buy a home fairly easily. So at least there’s that.

120 person wedding, my parents are paying 30,000 and his are paying for the rehersal and honeymoon and we paid about 2,000 out of our own pocket. I would guess about 40,000 at the end of the day including everything!

Let me preface this by saying we wanted to keep ours to 40,000…. which we soon found out is VERY HARD in the chicago area.  Ours will be around 55,000-60,000 in a suburb of Chicago for 250 people NOT including the honeymoon (5,000) or the rehersal dinner/next day brunch ( his family is paying for). We did splurge for top videographer and photograper and our venue isn’t the typical banquet room which added a bit as well (5,000-7,000).  My Fiance is more comfortable with this than I am…. I’ve already had a few melt downs about this cost and he reminds me it’ll be worth it. Luckily my parents are helping and will be able to give us 25-30k…but I still cringe when I think of the cost!

Venue for ceremony/reception~37,000

Food/drink/feeding our bridal party (20 in all) while getting ready ~1,000

Videographer/photographer~10,000

Dress/his tux~4,000

Decor/flowers~3,000

Tips~1000-2000

Gifts~1000

We paid 13k for our wedding. Our rehearsal dinner isn’t included since my in-laws paid for it, but I think it was around 2 or 3k. Our honeymoon was 3k.

latasha0721:  Our original budget was also $20k! Then we realized that our venue was going to be $20,000… Our final budget for the wedding was about $50,000. Our honeymoon was $8,000, and our rings were about $8,500. So in all I think we spent $68,500. However, it might have been closer to $70,000 because there were a lot of little things that I bought and didn’t really count towards that total.

If we were to do it again, I would spend the same amount. I would actually spend a bit more on a couple of things… (full planning services – we only had a decorator and did all the coordination ourselves with the venue), but oh well.

By The Way, this is in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
