Our budget is 25k, but I suspect it’ll probably be closer to 30 once the dust settles. This is for 125 people, including apparel and wedding bands, not including engagement ring or honeymoon.

We’re paying for it ourselves, and this is so much more than I originally wanted to spend! We’re going to be traveling across the country for it, though, so I’m not able to DIY much. Other than just trying to shop frugally, there hasn’t been much that I could cut down on and still come out with something we both loved. At this point, every time I get stressed about the money, I just whip out the book where we wrote out our priorities and try and remind myself why we made the decisions we did. lol

Total was $6,100 for 105 guests. We had Mexican food catered to keep food costs low! Did it on a Friday night instead of Saturday since it was cheaper to rent the venue. And my dress was rented for under $300. We used my parents car and had my brother drive us (my DH returned the favor for my brother 6 months later for his wedding). No bridal party!

Budgeted 45k, will end up about 50k not including honeymoon (10-15k), rehearsal dinner (gifted by MIL)  and any purchases under $300-500. My dad contributed 10k and the rest we’re paying ourselves. 100 guests.

Out budget was 8k, in the end we spent about 12k (our parents ended up giving us generous gifts AFTER the wedding, that helped offset the additional costs).

I think we’re going to end up somewhere between $25-30k (lol double what I had originally wanted to spend when we first got engaged…) which doesn’t include our honeymoon and rings. Guessing those add up to about another $12k total – we’re doing eight nights at a nice all-inclusive in Mexico.

I’m looking at about 8 or 9k for 40-50 people. I’m being very skimpy on what I can but it’s hard!

Wedding: $7,500 ($1,000 after gifts); we had 12 guests. Includes dress, shoes, groom’s attire, marriage license, etc. – all costs associated with getting married (except for rings, which is listed below).

Rings: $2,800; I inherited my husband’s great-grandmother’s engagement ring and wedding band – gorgeous Art Deco pieces. Had to replace the diamond, though.

Honeymoon: $4,000; 5 nights in Kauai, 6 nights in Hawaii. We also went skiing in Vail for 5 nights afterwards. That trip cost another ~$1,500. For some portions of the trips, I was able to use miles and/or points that I got from business travel (paid by my company).

All in all, we spent ~$8,000.

We are looking at around $1000 for the wedding, including our outfits. Our wedding bands were $500, and I’m not sure how much our honeymoon will be. It will likely be between 200 and 600 though.

conejo55:  We got married on a Sunday at a resort on Miami Beach, 75 guests. The venue (included ceremony & reception space, 4 hour open bar, hourdurves, dinner, and cake) ran about $15K.

Dress: $1,200 + another $500 alterations (that last part killed me but is what it

DJ: $1,200

Photographer: $2,500 (two shooters for 8 hrs, includes 20-page album)

Flowers: $1,400

Add’l Decor: about $600

Invitations: $400

Rings: about $450 for both

Officient: $450

Rehersal Cocktail Party: $500

Hair & Makeup for me, mom’s, and bridesmaids: $1,200

My parents paid for the venue and my dress (except alterations, I paid for that), we paid for everything else ourselves. Doesn’t include the two nights at the resort or our honeymoon. Or wedding party gifts. I’m not sure how much DH spent but he bought his guys liquor and I gave mine robes in addition to their H&MU. Hope that helps!

We spent around 30k for around 55 people (including around 10 kids). That was just for the wedding – rings, dress, his suit etc in addition to that. It was expensive but worth every penny. I look back on our pictiures and the video – it really was my dream wedding! 🙂
