I did, paypal is totally secure. One vendor had me pay through Google? That got my card frozen for potential fraud but no issues with Paypal at all.

The etsy vendors I used all go through paypal, and it’s been fine. I just gave my dad a headsup as to what the charge would look like so he wouldn’t think someone jacked the card number.

Just make sure it’s a Visa or MasterCard– some vendors/stores won’t accept Discover or AmEx (learned this the hard way).

I put everything I could to pay for my wedding on a credit card . . . not only to get the point, but for the added protection of the credit card company.  The key to this, however, is to make sure you pay it off so you don’t accrue interest!  I got more than enough in $$ back to pay for parts of my wedding–like the cake.

Pay Pal is awesome and secure. Most of our vendors accepted credit card, but a few insisted upon checks.

Yep! We put everything we could on our cards just to get our rewards points/free hotel rooms/etc. (before being paid immediately after earning said rewards, of course! haha)

I used paypal for a couple of things and didnt have any problems.  I really prefer that over putting my credit card information in a site I dont trust.

Also it is a good idea to use credit card incase a vendor doesnt provide the services – like if one of your vendors dissapears.  A lot of credit cards will cover you and fgive you your money back.  Depends on the card and the situation but it helped us out in one situation already.

I used a credit card for a few things, but they charged 3% more, whereas you got discounts for paying in cash, so it did not make it worth it to get the points.

i used my credit card to get points (and also because i didn’t have all the money i needed right away!).  I also paid my photographer and DJ through paypal because they were long distance and i didn’t meet them until we were in Jamaica.  I also had to use my credit for our travel accommodations/flights, and for all the stuff i bought online.

I used my credit card as much as possible for my wedding!! I paid it all off in full every month and got several hundred dollars back in rewards!!!  2% adds up quickly!

I’m putting everything on a credit card to help with tracking and any discrepancy issues with vendors.  And points, of course.  But I’m by no means financing my wedding, it’s being paid off every month.

Paypal is safe so I wouldnt be worried about that. And that is a good way to add up points for the cruise!!

My parents are putting everything on their AMEX to get miles on Delta. They will have LOTS!
