Nope, ours is a boring old practical date. 🙂

We chose what coincided the graduation without being that weekend so we’d be out of school, and wanted to get married in June because of how hot Chicago tends to get in July. August will be full of grad school/moving stress!

We’re getting married 10-10-10!  I’m super excited for it, which seems kind of silly because really, the date doesn’t matter!  But it will be easy to remember!

I posted about this some months ago and got pretty cool answers. Ours is 10-16-10. Our original anniversary was on 10/18…he proposed on 10/17…we’re getting married on 10/16.

Boring date here.  We needed something after FI’s school let out, but before my cousin’s high school graduation.  And after college graduation.  So 6/12 it was.

We wanted 9-10-11, but the venue wanted to much money, so we changed it to 3-31-11 <— It’s a full house and in the middle of both of our birthdays. It is also the last day that they give a seasonal discount.

I wanted a late summer / early fall (August, September or October) Saturday night wedding date. So we got out a calendar and then eliminated them one by one (didn’t want Sept 11th, didn’t want my ex’s b-day, my parents we’re going on vacation, etc).

Eventually it came down between September 18 and October 2…I just liked the look/sound of 10-2-10 better than 9-18-10. 🙂

We’re 11-20-10. The only reasons why are how many weddings have you ever been to in November? And I like the number 20. Haha, plus it’s a week before THanksgiving, so the families will be in town.
