(Closed) Wedding date etiquette

Well if their venue screwed up and booked them the 28th then does that mean they had the 21st available and just screwed up the dates or does that mean that the other couple screwed up the dates? Either way they should contact that venue and try to change it to the date they actually wanted if it is available before you change anything. The screw up was on their end.

How much overlap would there be between wedding guests? Do you have a lot of mutual friends or is it just them? If its just them, I think I’d tell them I was really sorry, but this was the only time that would work. Mutual friends, I’d probably try to see if one of us could change the date, or know that I might lose guests.
