Hello all! Quick question: Are there any rules as to WHERE the wedding date should go on save-the-dates? I really like the simplistic look of the front, with the details on the back. But do you think people will be confused (or forget our date) if they don’t see a date right away? Maybe I’m overthinking this…

My first thought would be “cute save the date, now what date am I saving?” My next logical thought would be to turn it over and look on the back. I would probably put it on my fridge with the side with the info facing out so I wouldn’t forget. I think you’ll be fine!

I think you could leave “save the date” off of the one side, just have your photo there, and add “save the date” to the top of the other side. It makes more sense to me that way.

I had the same thought as kimmo. I’ve learned though that some people will still ask or forget the date even when you send a save the date!

I think they look beautiful as is! Anyone with half a brain will turn it over.
