Wedding Day Amnesia
I think I am suffering from this ailment… anyone else experienced this or know anyone who has? Please share your experiences bees!
Thank you! 🙂

@brideybean: Oh my goodness – you know, I haven’t, but I just wanted to give you a hug! All the best!

lol thanks so much!! Very much appreciated 🙂
I don’t have full amnesia. I remember a lot of the day/ceremony and select moments of reception but those memories are very limited! I am looking forward to seeing the video and reliving it that way!

I remember most of it but have some holes such as the ceremony readings, our dinner afterwards, and how/when/what we did when we got back to our hotel room. I tried really hard to take it all in too! I made sure to not have much to drink at all that night so I could remember it all, but it was such a whirlwind my mind couldn’t keep up! We watched our video of the ceremony a few weeks afterwards & literally it was all new to me!

@brideybean: I definitely don’t remember a ton of it, and it’s the reason I have extreme regret over not having a videographer 🙁

Oddly I remember everything so far, several days later. It didn’t feel like it went fast or was a blur at all. I had a great time but felt more low-key than expected and I am pretty sure I remember it all.

I too barely drank and made a concerted effort to take it in/savour the moments but there was just too much going on! Happy to hear I am not crazy/the only one lol. I am so excited for video!
I am sorry to hear that! Hopefully your photos will be enough to jog your memory. I am sure moments you might not remember have been captured 🙂
Wow, that is impressive! Did you do anything in particular to take it all in?

I did a lot of resting during the partying part and later in the night when I got tired, that probably helped. When I started to flag I sat at the sweetheart table, chatted with people who came by, and just watched everyone, I think that helped me sort of consolidate memories.
