I scoured Etsy for ideas. I ended up with cufflinks. They have our date and the definition of forever πŸ™‚

I wanted to do a boudoir shoot and get him all new golf clubs, but I got injured at work so I’m not working currently and that expense got cut…

I am getting him a super mario grooms cake. He has been pining over this cake he saw at the bakery since our cake tasting. When his birthday came up recently he was hoping to get it, but i had already decided to give it to him for the wedding. I might also get him some cufflinks so he has a tangible gift to look back at in the coming years.

I am hoping that he gets me a Pandora bracelet with one/two charms on it to get me started.

I did a boudoir shoot and will be giving him the little black book at our first look.  I also have cuff links that you can put any picture in, and I’ll be putting the little Radiohead bears in them for him to wear.  I’m thinking about doing a groom’s cake too, but he’s already getting his wish of a wedding cake so probably pass on that.

He was talking about upgrading my diamond studs, adding to my Alexis Bittar collection or giving me a right hand band of some kind (I like black diamonds if he asks!).  I’m thrilled with anything, I just want to be his wife really.

I bought my fiance a Tag Heuer watch and some bulldog cufflinks.  I would have preferred to buy him an actual baby bulldog, but we’re waiting until we move out of my condo into our house!

Tag watch (ETA: I bought from our jeweler, who is an authorized TAG dealer… they knocked off some of the price for us, which Nordstrom doesn’t do… Love Nordies, but not so much for fine jewelry!)

Bulldog cuff links

We haven’t discussed what he will get me – my rings were kind of $$$, which is why I went a little overboard with his gift – I wanted him to have a lifelong piece of jewelry, too.

I am planning to get him a really nice watch, one that he has been coveting for a few years now.

As for what I am hoping for from him … I’m not sure … I am sure he will get me something but I don’t really need or want anything special. I would be happy with just a really nice heartfelt card! I have always looked at my gift to him on our wedding day as almost being my return of his gift of my engagement ring. Haha, silly I know, but that’s just the way I have always thought of it. I would cut other things before I cut out buying his watch, because I want him to always have something special to wear and look back on as being a wedding related gift from me, just like I have my engagement ring! πŸ™‚

@MrsDrRose612:  To be honest, I think a letter is the most personal, sweetest gift anyone can give to their bride or groom on the day of their wedding.  It never goes out of style, never doesn’t fit, and a true keepsake of your wedding day.
