My all time favorite is the Becca ultimate coverage one, but I have oily skin. If you do the it’s great, it lasts all day (I even went swimming in it!). If you have dry/combo skin then it can be drying

Oh, I could edit but another thing – don’t buy anything with SPF in it. I have heard (on here even) that SPF messes with the flashes of the professional camera. So, try to get all of your products without SPF.

Not sure what your skin tone is but I am relitivly fair and neautral and love the new Dior Nude Air foundation, and I always use the smashbox primer water and urban decay chill setting spray that shit is locked down. As for concealer I would say the new naked skin concealer from urban decay has replaced my love for the nars longwear one but both are excellent. Hope you find something great! Don’t be afraid to go in and grab samples of everything, the women in the department stores near me love to help out and give samples of everything. Make sure you use a primer and a foundation that has the same base ie: water based or silicone based together otherwise you will get seperation, there are great websites out there that tell you what foundations are what bases. Mac for instance is water based, the dior nude air is silicone based. Hope this helps!

First moisturize with NO SPF, the pictures with come out much better if you do not use spf. Then prime, prime prime. If you are having an early ceremony check out “puff off” it is amazing for under eye puffiness, which i usually only have in the am.

(Also side note, an unscented gel deodorant under your foundation will help with you tend to sweat under pressue or if it is hot that day, but test this at least once be fore the big day)

If you want a lighter coverage go for urban decay naked, it will give you a dewy glow if you want full coverage go for the mac photo ready line. For concealer NARS is by far the best and lasts the longest and does not crease. And use a beauty blender it helps prevent streaking and creases soft gradual transitions for your different products.  And always be sure to set your liquids with a translucent powder like a mineral veil by bare minerals. And top it off with a setting spray, revlon actually has a very good one that works just as well as the mac setting spray and is cheaper and easier to find.

Hope this helped

Estee Lauder! I have the double longwear light and will be using it for my wedding. I would imagine that the regular version is great too. I also use the double longwear concealer and it’s awesome. Goes on nice and smooth, blends well, and doesn’t move or crease at all.

I am either going to be using the MUFE HD or the Mac Prolongwear (which I am leaning towards) and for concealer, either the NARS creamy concealer or the Mac Prolongwear.

bijoucherie:  I loved MUFE HD foundation + their HD translucent powder. I can’t stand the way my skin looks in foundation (I almost never wear it), and I thought this looked really good in real life and in photos.

bijoucherie:  Do not use anything with SPF. It makes you look white and pasty in pictures. I feel as if a professional makeup artist knows tricks and helpful information bc you will be photographed all day.

Not married yet, but I have a make up artistry backgroud and model on occasion.

I love MUFE HD Foundation, but what I tend to wear is Armani Luminous Silk with MUFE Full Cover concealor. Always always prime (Kat Von D lock it weightless primer) and I set with the Urban Decay All Nighter Spray.

I was being photographed for 6 hours on and off (I only touched up my lips) and my complexion with the above routine did not budge, at all. I continued wearing it until the end of the night and it still looked as good as it did when I left my house.

I’m going with Revlon Colourstay for normal/oily skin. I’ve never really gone high-end with foundation for some reason so felt safe with this one. I’ve trialled it quite a bit, it stays well particularly with primer applied first.

I swear by Revlon colorstay in the normal dry skin version its the same thing as Estee Lauder Double Wear but way cheaper. I used to use double wear but now I’m hooked on Revlon colorstay, its the foundation I used on my engagement party makeup and loved it. X

bijoucherie:  I really like either Make Up For Ever HD Invisible Cover Foundation, but have recently tried BECCA Ultimate Coverage Complexion Creme and love that as well, especially for summer. The concealer I use is MAC Pro Long Wear Concealer. Whenever I use them, I prime my skin with Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer and set it using Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Diffused Light.
