I saw on another thread a bee mentioned that she bought a jar and filled it with little pieces of paper that each listed a reason why she loved her husband.  I thought that was a great idea for an inexpensive yet meaningful gift.

I can’t remember who it was, so hopefully she will chime in and give you some pointers!

great idea! my husband and i didnt get each other anything either – we both decided to get something we wanted on our honeymon – duty free bia!

BUT i couldnt leave him empty handed – i found some beautiful sparkly paper at michaels and cut them up in squares, i wrote something i loved about him on each one and put them in a jar. he reads one every night when we get in bed. it been almost 2 months and he has barely made a dent in the jar haha!

My best friend and her husband did this as well. Everytime they went on a trip alone or apart they would pick up a rock. She realized she had this collection of rocks just sitting in a box, so she put them in a pretty vase and wrote a cute note/poem about bringing all of their memories together and bringing them into their married life.

Try to think if you and your fiance have any special moments. Another idea, if you guys are into music, just burn him a cd for the day of getting ready. Nothing better than blasting your favorite tunes to really get you into the mood!
