This sounds pretty unromantic but we bought a luggage set as our gift to each other. Before we decided on that DH was considering getting me an e-reader. We tend to be pretty practical people.

I bought him a nice watch that’s engraved, and I am doing boudoir pictures and giving it to him the day of in the morning. I’ll have my Maid/Matron of Honor drive it over to him. I can’t wait… I have no clue if he’s planning to get me something, if he is I’m sure I’ll be surprised because so far every time he surprises me with something I totally love it!

I want to do a gift exchange, so I made sure to mention it to Mr. P otherwise he would have no idea and I’d end up disappointed.  No idea what I’m going to get him, but it’ll probably be over $100.

I’d love to do boudoir photos, but right now, I just can’t stomach the price. :[ As for what I’ll actually get him that’s still up in the air.. although, I’m thinking of cufflinks, and money clip. I’m sure I’ll figure it out before W-day. :]

Nope, not doing a gift exchange.  We’re spending enough on the wedding and dont really care for extra ‘gifts’ since we dont really need or want anything and when we do, we just buy it.

@brighteyedgirl: My Maid/Matron of Honor is a photographer and she is the doing doing my boudoir pictures… I could always find out how much she would charge, etc… and PM you if you’d like.

I made him a book of all his love poems he has ever written. (there is a story to go along with that) and I plan on making him some QR code cufflinks to wear… I was thinking about making a small website and having something special for him on it when he searched the code but I can’t decide what I want to put on it… I was thinking teasers of me getting ready but I know he wouldn’t like that because he is very strict on not wanting to see me one bit. Hmm…

I found a starting photographer who wasn’t super expensive to do boudoir pics for him.  I had to rent a hotel room to do them in plus I got my makeup done do it was about $400 total with the book I made through adoramapix.  My husband got me diamond cluster earrings.

I bought my FH transformer engraved cufflinks that I am going to give him the morning off so he can wear. I am also getting him a nice card and a grooms cake that in the shape of a Guinness can that will be wheeled out during the reception

My husband got me a Kindle, because I kept stressing about packing enough books for the honeymoon 🙂

I had a much harder time picking something out for him.  He already had a watch, cufflinks, and all the usual stuff.  Originally I was going to get him this fancy stein that was about $90, but then when I was running ideas by his best man he hinted that he had spent more on me.  So then I panicked, and couldn’t decide between an xbox and a tablet computer.  The xbox would have been less, but I knew he really wanted a tablet and would use it a lot for work (and we already have a ps3, so the xbox wasn’t really necessary).

I ended up getting him a Motorola Xoom (the motorola version of the ipad), which he loved, except I bought the wifi version instead of the 3g one.  So he returned it after the wedding, and we’re waiting until we switch cellphone providers in a few months to get a new one.  It was a lot of money–about $700 with sales tax–but I figured he spent a lot more than that on e-ring and never got something, and he paid for our honeymoon as well.  And we’re the kind of people who would rather spend more on something we really want than less on a bunch of stuff we won’t use.
