I’m getting him a GoPro. He’s always wanted one, and we like to travel and scuba dive, so it will come in handy…especially on our honeymoon!

My FI’s parent are deceased  so I decided to have a locket made with their pictures in it so he will have them as we walk down the isle together. I am planning this because that is the only gift I could think of for him.

He loves to shop and as every electronic gadget, watches, rings, and cars, etc. So this is something that he will never expect. I will have to mentioned it in around about way because I dont want to upset him the day of the wedding.

I purchased a vintage lace-y/sheer romper (he has told me countless times that he really likes rompers and lace on me) that he will open the day-of when he’s getting ready. Something to look forward to. 😉

I’m also planning on getting him a gift card to Cabela’s (an outdoor store). He loves backpacking and will soon need a tent of his own. There isn’t one in our state, but we’ll be able to stop by one on the way home from our honeymoon. I figure a gift card will allow him to get exactly what he wants, and bonus, I’ll get to enjoy a shopping date with my new husband!

I’ve been writing him love letters since a couple weeks into our relationship, with the intent of giving them to him on our wedding day (I knew he was the only man for me well before I ever said it out loud!).  I’m going to have them made into a leather-bound book and will have someone give them to him the morning of our wedding.  I love looking through them because they’re from so many important dates in our relationship – the day I fell in love with him (but didn’t tell him!), the day we first went ring shopping, the night before our vacation in Hawaii when I knew he was going to ask me to marry him, etc.  The last letter will be written the night before our wedding…

I’m getting him Notre Dame cufflinks and his best man UCLA ones. Along with the card, I was thinking pair of fancy, engraved whiskey glasses (are there such things?) with a bottle of his favorite aged whiskey.

I am getting FI the rifle he has been wanting for a while now.  We re getting married in Sept and his Bday is in August.  So he’ll get something small in August and then the rifle for a wedding gift.  I know it seems like a lot but he loves gun stuff(he’s miltary) and I have never been able to get him an OMG gift before.  So im excited to give it to him.  It took alot of saving but I did it.  🙂
