MY Fiance is a HUGE Elvis Presley fan (seriously, he knows everything about the guy!), so I decided to get him these to wear during the reception and in the future.

I didn’t know I had to get him anything. Hmmm.
His grandmother just passed away(the last of his grandparents) and his grandfather(her husband) 6 years before her. Before she died I asked her if I could have a pair of her husband’s cufflinks. I am going to get them refinished and engraved with the initials “CB” on them because they are my FI’s initials and his grandfather’s. They were really close. I thought it would be a perfect gift. I also started writing letters to him since we got engaged and will get that put into a nice book to give to him.
I started a diary for him the weekend we got engaged and have been listing things I love about him and chronicling the way our love is growing and changing. I also have a series of letters and if I can afford it by then, an ammo case (he hunts) with his name engraved
I might get him a 45 of a song he liked when he was little, that his now deceased mom had on 45 too. 🙂
I got him a bottle of SourPuss and 6 shots glasses (so him, his groomsmen and his dad could all take a shot together before heading to the ceremony). I wrapped it up nicely & then gave him a card too, which was a little bit more sentimental. We had said no gifts for each other, but I felt the need to get him something.
We’re both huge hockey fans, so we’re getting each other jerseys from our favorite team – go Red Wings! 🙂
His wedding ring . Also a sarcastic “congratulations I knew you could do it!” Card.
Fiance is not a big fan of being a gift recepient. Ironically enough, whenever I ask what he wants for a birthday or Christmas he always wants funny socks. He’s a lawyer, and wears a conservative suit almost everyday, but his secret is his crazy socks; he LOVES crazy socks. I think I’m going to do the “for cold feet” thing, with a nice, fancy pair of wacky socks to wear.
My parents are paying for the majority of our wedding, so I would like to use the money to buy them a really nice gift, instead of buying things for ourselves. I’m thinking a weekend away or something.
I plan on getting my Fiance a rolex, pre-owned b/c they are way too expensive!! But he has always wanted one, and I know he will cherish it forever…now to start saving so I can afford it…
My DH got wife! We wrote each other letters, but I just can’t get behind giving gifts to each other on the wedding day.
