I started a journal about 3 weeks into our relationship because I knew we would get married one day, I’ve been writing in it for 3 1/2 years now. The first page I wrote in 2010, addressed to him on our wedding day. So he can just read the first page then, and we can read the rest together, later. He has no idea. Last year, he found an older journal of mine I kept in high school and got a huge kick out of reading it, so I know he’s going to completely love this.

Our venue has a bridal suite and grooms quarters, it’s very cool and rustic.
I was going to have bacon roses (yup, you heard me!!!) and Gentleman Jack/Honey Jack set up for him and his guys (there’s only 3 of them). We are providing the liquor for the wedding so I know he wants a few “grooms only” drinks for himself.
The night before, I was going to give him a “365 reasons I want to marry you” book after our rehearsal dinner for him to thumb through…in case he thinks of changing his mind LOL!!!

My Darling Husband had been deployed for a year during our relationship, durng which I would send him themed care packages. For our wedding, I made him a wedding themed care package including little gifts with labels:
Socks “in case you get cold feet”
Bottle of Jameson “To lift your spirits”
Screen cleaner wipes “To clean up life’s little messes” (I always touch his laptop screen and he HATES it LOL!
A Bulova watch “To watch the time we share” (or something like that)
A travel journal “To remember our journey together”
He really like the gift and it was very personal

@Stina11287: I did something kinda cheesy and cheap lol. I did the 52 reasons I love you deck of cards. He loved it and he keeps it by his bedside table now 🙂
