What is everyone getting their Hubby to be for the day of the wedding!? My Fiance will be at a hotel with all his groomsmen getting ready and I would LOVE to have something sent there but my ideas, I’m not so sure about.
Here’s what I was thinking, We are HUGE Baseball fans! I still have our tickets to our first Twins game together, our ticket from a Brewers vs. White Sox game that we attended the night he proposed and we are going to Colorado for our honeymoon and I was thinking of getting him Rockies tickets to go to Coors Field. Any ideas of how to tie it all together and make it a surprise?!
I was thinking of having the tickets matted and framed with photos from those nights including a COPY of the ticket for the Rockies game?! It would be a cute addition to our baseball themed basement!!
What’s everyone else doing?

I really want to do a boudoir shoot as a surprise and sneak it under his pillow the night before the wedding as a suprise. HOWEVER I was discussing the whole wedding gifts to each other thing with him the other night and he was totally clueless that people actually did this so now I’m not so sure because let me tell you I’ll be PISSED if I spend all this money and do this and then get squat from him on the day of the wedding. Is it so wrong to want a gift delivered to me from my hubby to be? What a dumbass. I’ll have to beat it into him that this is what people do.

There are a ton of threads about this! If you look under the last comment posted, there will be a box that says “related posts” and that should give you a TON of great ideas! Good luck!

My fiance wants a watch. How do I know this? He left a watch catalog on top of my laptop for me to find, with little notes on the cover saying “Cool gifts!” “Maybe for the wedding” “Shhh… don’t tell”
Real subtle. I know. But at least I now know exactly what watch he wants…

@skibo – at least he understands the concept of wedding day gift giving!

That is a really cute idea! It’s so much more creative than the typical groom’s gift.
I have no idea what I’m going to get my fiance. Everything that I think he might like, he keeps buying for himself!! Arg!
Have you been to CO before? I’m a native 🙂 let me know if you need travel tips 🙂

I am planning on putting together a time capsule. I am going to fill it with letters I have written over the year of planning for us to read in 25 years. I have also had our parents and Maid/Matron of Honor and Bridesmaid or Best Man write us letters. I put pictures and certain personal things that are about us. I am going to look up stats for 2010 the year we get married…. I wanted to write a letter to him as well.. Just an idea.

that’s a great idea! I was a little more sedate – I send my husband a pair of cufflinks and he sent me a cashmere scarf.
