I have no idea what to get my parents and future in-laws as a wedding day gift. They have both contributed so much for our wedding that we’d like to thank them with a nice gift. What are you girls doing?

For the mothers we got each of them a necklace. My mother got a pearl pendant with a little gold swirly thing, my stepmom got an amethyst set in a treble clef pendant, and his mother got a blue topaz cross necklace.
For my father, we took my favorite picture of the two of us together and had a local painter paint it as a painting.
For my stepfather, we got a metal dragon sign that says “Welcome,” and then had a custom-designed mirror image one that says “Go Away,” so he can display whichever he feels like that day.

My mother never got the bouquet for her wedding that she wanted, she had to get what my grandmother wanted for her. So we are getting her her bouquet that she always wanted. She will love this as she is a photographer and loves photographing flowers and it will really mean something to her. We are getting his mother her outfit, she is a lovely woman and is scared to death not to show up in something appropriate (even though we really don’t care what she wears), she is from a small town and is kind of scared of looking the fool in the “big city”. For my dad, don’t know yet. He will be the hard one.

I’m giving each mom a handkerchief I found on etsy for $6 each. (seller: FrostyAugust)
For my mom, I plan on giving her a one-of-a-kind, handmade, wooden keepsake box.
For my dad, I’m not too sure. I was hoping you ladies had some ideas. I really like the idea of playing with pictures. I was thinking of a hinged double-frame with a picture of me as a little girl on one side and him walking me down the aisle on the other side (with a sappy caption underneath.) Or maybe deco-paging black and white childhood pics on the matte with the main picture of us on the wedding day in black and white with that vintage color touch-up. I don’t know. Still thinking.
For his parents, since they put a lot of effort, time, and money into this wedding, we are getting them a weekend getaway package. We’re going to get them a gift certificate to a bed and breakfast and make a cute gift basket.

Hopefully I can get some ideas here! The mothers are easy, but I have no idea what to get our fathers.
