I was about to spend about $300 on a boudoir shoot, but thankfully one of my amazing photographer friends offered to do it for free!  I will probably spend about $40-$70 on the album for it

We agreed on no gifts since we’re in the process of buying our first house (YAY!) and saving money. Our gifts to eachother are our vows.

I got my Darling Husband a watch engraved with our initials and wedding date, a boutonniere pin with a picture of his grandma who couldn’t make it on it, and this awesome Star Wars bathrobe he’d been eyeing to wear while he was getting ready. He loved it all and the photographer got some great pics!

We aren’t doing gifts.  We already spending money on the wedding, so we decided it was silly to do gifts to each other.  Until we started planning out the budget, we didn’t even know that it was common to give each other gifts.  Seems kind of strange to me.  We may write letters to each other, or something like that.  But no gifts.

I got him a watch he had been eyeing.  In his style, it was at Costco and pretty affordable ($250ish).  He got me tickets to an Indy Race – less than $200 for the weekend with parking and everything.  He’s not a good gift giver.  ๐Ÿ™‚

ETA – I wanted to go to the race and it was tons of fun, I just told him I wanted a little something small I could rememeber was from him at our wedding.  He bought me a tshirt at the race.  Will Power!

He didn’t get a gift.  I knew he didn’t know couples exchanged gifts on the wedding day and didn’t want to embarass him.

I’m doing a boudoir shoot and giving him an album from it but he’s also getting a gift the day of while he’s getting ready that my Man of Honor is going to bring to him. It’s a box and it will have a letter to him telling him why I can’t wait to be his wife and a flask with a shot in it to ‘calm his nerves’, a pair of some fun dress socks to ‘make sure he doesn’t get cold feet’, a new watch so he ‘gets there on time’ and some cufflinks. I think that’s all I have planned…
