I honestly like both. I appreciate that’s the least helpful response ever, but your face shape and the dress, in my opinion, will work with either. If you’re not sure, why not decide on a head piece, veil whatever and then figure out what works best with that?

I have the same problem my hair does not hold curls well, why not half up half down and then have it at the side so your hair does not get all sweaty on your back if its hot.

Both are so pretty!  Up sort of continues that “almost ballerina” theme of the dress but both look great ๐Ÿ™‚

I think a loose up do would look really great.

If you hair is like mine and doesn’t hold curl well then I would opt for an up-do. As much as I love wearing my hair down my hair just doesn’t hold a curl either. I might say a super soft up-do would be the way to go ๐Ÿ˜€

P.S. I love your dress ๐Ÿ˜€

Any outdoor summer wedding with hair down that doesn’t hold curl is a recipe for the curls to fall out and you possibly not being happy with it. I would go with a loose romantic up do. It will stay it place and you won’t have to worry about it.

I love the idea of a loose updo with that dress. It looks super elegant!

I am a hairdresser, and I say up FOR SURE. Your dress is beautiful and I think your pretty face should be more of the focal point. I pay attention to hair so much and every wedding I go to when the bride has it down it is stringy mid night or the back is straight from having so many people hug you and pat your hair down till it is straight and flat.

There are soo many beautiful modern updo’s that will assure you have volume and style for the whole day, and you can still leave hair around the face to still feel like you. ๐Ÿ™‚

Jamichristine05:  absolutely up – the loose vintage-y one pictured would be loveley with that dress. Outdoor summer all day affair, hair down, nope, nope !
