I voted this afternoon for half up but then I had to come back to drool about your hair again lol. I voted for half up because I loved the braid, but I was just thinking why don’t you incorporate some small detail to one side (like a smail braid or a beautiful pin) to make it more interesting and wear it all down to the side? It’s hard to tell for sure since there are no fron shots of the hair trials, but now I’m thinking all down suits you best!

I am in the same boat, I love my hair long, but feel like my dress is better suited for an updo.

Solution: I will be doing an updo for photos and letting it (half) down after dinner.

Okay a few things here… 1. Your dress is gorgeous and fits beautifully! 2. You are gorgeous and YOUR HAIR. 3. I think that because your dress is strapless you should either do down with the braid or to one side. But the updo is beautiful too!

I say the updo looks the best. It will stay put all day and night and isn’t your regular look. Keep the loose hair for everyday looks.

It would look gorgeous in the updo…or as you wear it on a normal day.  (I don’t personally care for the half down/braid combo).

Also–I think you have the same dress I did?!  Is it Enzoani Jodie?  You look amazing in it!

mandychellenels :  no to thread-jack, but how do you curl your hair? what’s your process? my hair is similar to yours, so i’m curious πŸ™‚ i also hate however a stylist curls it!

Your hair is BEAUTIFUL. I’m a fellow long hair Bee and I wish my curls looked like yours (my hair is thick, wavy and likes to stick out at diagonal angles from my head).

It’s difficult for me to visualise what it would look like with the veil, but my vote is for half up with those gorgeous curls trailing down.

mandychellenels :  I love your hair! Mine was about the same length until about a year ago when I had a genius idea to cut it into a bob. I loved it for about a month πŸ™ now I’m engaged and I want to grow it back before I get married. Anyway, I voted “all down to the side”. it’s way too pretty to put it all up!

mandychellenels :  Well first off…you look stunning in it!  Your shape is gorgeous in it, so sitting down is over-rated.  πŸ™‚  Actually…I had the same challenge…I could “barely” sit…and so I was sucking it in…Sitting on the edge of my chair.  Once I got the alcohol I relaxed a bit and wasn’t thinking “Dear Lord, please do not let me split my wedding dress—and luckily I didn’t! LOL it held up.  On top of that..we got married in June in the Dominican Republic where it was a million degrees…I had sweat dripping all over me. I wouldn’t say it “loosened” but It survived! By the end of the night I wasn’t even thinking about it.
