I am having a hard time deciding what hairstyle to go with for my wedding day. My hair trial is coming up in less than 3 weeks and I could use your help deciding on what inspiration picture to bring along. I am getting married in July and it will more than likely be pretty warm out, so as much as I love the first style, I worry it won’t hold up and that it will end up sticking to my back because of the heat. I really would like my hair to be lose and flowly and romantic looking. I’ve narrowed it down to these two styles, but I am open to other options as well. I’ve posted a picture of myself so you know what my hair is like. My hair is one of my biggest concerns and any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I would love to see your dress to decide if I liked #1 or #2 better, because they’re both gorgeous, but you really cannot go wrong with #2! It’s beautiful and elegant, and your hair will not be a concern on your wedding day.
Although you look beautiful in the last picture, I think your hair will end up flying all over the place on your wedding day and it will be falling in your face in any picture in which you’re leaning over (to cut the cake, hug someone, etc.)
ETA: Oops! Sorry! I just went to vote, and I saw that you weren’t even listing the third one as an option! 🙂

I vote #2, I like it a bit better than 1 and good point about the heat! And you don’t want to worry that your curls will fall out.

Thanks guys… I added a picture of my dress. Karena Royale in ivory.

@DaniBanani: Ok I guess I’m in the minority but I like # 1 the best! Looks like you have the perfect hair to pull off style #1. Although 2 is pretty….I just feel like I’ve seen it a lot and # 1 is different and def gorgeous! But I am biased a bit b/c I’m a bigger fan of down or half up./down than up all the way.
Not quite sure how I feel about the exact flower or placement of it I am just referring to the style itself!

I like both hairstyles, but the first one is just so different and striking. I do understand your concerns about the heat though. Hmmm…do you think that your hairstylist might be able to do something similar to the first style but pin the bottom of it more up? Keep the look of hair down but lift it so it isn’t all the way down your back? It might be worth asking…

#1 has way too much going on for me. It reminds me of toddlers and tiaras. #2 is definitely elegant and classic.

@DaniBanani: if you’re AT ALL concerned about your hair falling, or it being too hot, don’t have it down. Nothing’s worse than looking in the mirror and hating your hair because it’s flat and plastered to your back.
Would you consider having it up for the ceremony and then maybe trying a 1/2 up 1/2 down style at the reception?

The second is one of my inspiration pictures! 🙂

Thanks for the help everyone!

I think hairstyle 2 is gorgeous and very romantic! :]

They are both pretty but I feel with the heat #2 would hold up better. Love the dress and details! Congrats.

@DaniBanani: Go for the upswept for the actual Wedding; you can then let it down for the partayyyyyyyy receptioooonnnnn!! lol, no seriously, I like upswept for the wedding itself, but both are pretty no matter.

@DaniBanani: you are so beautiful. I think hairstyle number 2 would look stunning on you. You have gorgeous thick hair to pull off both looks but the first hairstyle looks ‘dated’ to me. I am not a fan of it at all. Also with the updo, you will not have to worry about hair issues at all!
