It just dawned on me…I’m getting married in 18 days. There is no turning back time. I’m getting major anxiety. Not sure if it’s because of everything I’m juggling right now (full-time student, mother of a tot, final wedding planning, moving into FI’s house) or just run-of-the-mill nervousness when you’re going to be the center of attention? Either way, I’m shaking. My heart will randomly beat really quick. I get short of breath. I think I’m having small panic attacks. I just ride it out…
Anyone else going through this or experience this right before their wedding?

Oh, I had it BAD the day before and the morning of our wedding!
I’m a naturally anxious person, and was SO proud of myself for being cool as a cucumber the month leading up to our wedding. I was just excited, and I had no jitters.
Fast forward to our rehearsal. Our coordinator is going through it all, and right before the walk down the aisle (mind you, this is just our REHEARSAL), I suddenly get nauseous and my heart starts beating really fast. Full blown anxiety. It didn’t go away until our reception. It was awful. I mean, all things considered, I had a blast on our wedding day, but knowing my history, I’m still kicking myself (five months later) for not asking my doctor about a mild anti-anxiety medication.
Oh well, live and learn!
ETA: My anxiety was because it just hit me that I was the center of attention, not because of the actual marriage, hehe 🙂
