FutureMrsW2015:  I used two lipsticks, and then a sheer tint over them.

Mac Creme Cup and Kat Von D Agatha – these two created a soft pink which I loved.

Then, I layered on Maybelline’s Color Whisper in One Size Fits Pearl.

Here are a few that I wear quite often, and have had a lot of success with.  Side note-  I’m usually a red lipstick kind of girl, so I haven’t personally tried out the lighter colors of these products.

– Maybelline 24 hour lipcolor (http://www.maybelline.com/Products/Lip-Makeup/Lip-Color/superstay-24-color.aspx) You put on one layer of liquid, let it dry, then put a clear balm over the top.  Its bomb-proof.  I’ve crammed cheeseburgers into my face while wearing this stuff, and had it still look perfect afterwards.

– Revlon colorstay lipcolor.  Its basically the same as the Maybelline option above, they just have a different color selection

– Revlon colorburst balm stain – I’ve found this color (http://www.amazon.com/Revlon-ColorBurst-Stain-Honey-Ounce/dp/B008HP2VRU) to be a nice natural color that lasts a long time.  When I wear this particular stain, I apply it to my lips then wait about 15 minutes before blotting most of it off.  That way, I’m left with the color but no extra product to smear around.

I’m wearing one of the maybelline 24 hour Superstay lipsticks. There’s a ton of nude/pinks to choose from.  They stay on until you eat something oily or you use an oil based remover to take them off.  The gloss end makes them super comfortable to wear.

I’m using either Perpetual Plum or Won’t Move Mauve.

In this pic I did a kinda sorta DIY trial for my makeup for my fitting and I’m wearing perpetual plum.

I wore MAC Cosmetic’s Viva Glam II. It’s a beautiful mauvey-nude color, it’s a satin finish so it has a bit more life than a matte but was still very long lasting, and all of the proceeds go to MAC’s AIDs fund.

Here are some swatch photos I found online.

Kat Von D liquid lipstick line. Any color. They last so long and don’t kiss off. I am in love!

FutureMrsW2015:  It’s tough without knowing your skin tone. Mac Viva Glam V is a lustre so it has a glossy finish with out the sticky feeling of a gloss. If you want a peachy nude you can put it over something like Boldy Bare lip liner, for more of a Pink you can do Soar or Dervish. I don’t know your skin tone, but you can lightly buff In Anticipation Prolongwear liner over your lips and swipe the Viva Glam V over top and it will give you a slightly more pink tone lip! I suggest VG V because it’s probably one of the most versatile colours I e ever worked with and works on many skin tones!

FutureMrsW2015:  I’m using Sephora Collection cream lip stain. I’m using the red but they have several shades, even some pinks. It lasts like all day and it doesn’t transfer when I kiss my fiance and it doesn’t dry my lips out too badly in my opinion plus it’s only $13!!
