I left it up to them, some said they would rather do it themselves & others wanted a professional.  $50 sounds right on target, thats what I was quoted.

But to answer your question, no I am not paying for them.

Makeup + Hair = $110 per person

It’s not cheap but i’m covering for them- i dont feel right to force someone to pay over $100 to apply makeup and hair for “my” wedding

cost keeps on adding up!!  crazy…

I ended up paying for mine b/c they had done so much for me (bachelorette weekend that they paid for everything, including flights, hotels, meals, and events, and the shower, and they had to buy things for the wedding). I got them a gift as well, but I wanted to do a little something extra.

I don’t remember how much it cost, but my hair dresser worked by the hour, which ended up being pretty reasonable. I don’t think $50 is that much though, everything is very expensive!

I’m letting my bidesmaids decide/pay for their own makeup and hair 😛 Heck most of them dont even wear makeup!

I gave them the option of using the lady that is doing mine, or doing it some other way (DIY, etc). If they chose to do it, they pay for it. The makeup artist we are using gave them the option of doing “eyes only” for $15.

I did not pay for mine to get their make up done – they all just did it themselves and looked beautiful!
