I don’t have recomendations or anything as far as products go but one tip for you is to use a lip stain rather than a lip stick. Even if the lipstick is “longlasting”; it flakes and dries your lips out. Lipstains on the other hand give great colour without flakes or drying. Just finish up with a clear gloss and you’re good to go!

If you are willing to spend a generous amount and haven’t done it before, why not get someone to do it at a makeup counter in the mall i.e. Mac, Clinique, etc) and then purchase the products. That way you get to test a few colors and looks out before paying. I recommend Mac.

Go to the Mac, Clinique, or another makeup counter and tell them what you’re looking for.  I would find some pictures of how you would like to look.  They will definitely give you some great recommendations.

I’m an novice when it comes to make-up so I’m hiring a MUA.  If you have the budget, you can always hire an independent via the make-up counters.

Good Luck!!!!
