One of my bridesmaids is a licensed estetician (probably spelled that wrong), so she did my makeup!

I did my own and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. But I did practice the completed look quite a bit before too.

@Carolyn72: I wasn’t that great at doing my own make-up – but I watched some make-up tutorials on youtube. Look up “make-up geek” she has some really good bridal looks. But it can also be costly to buy a bunch of new products too. Have you searched craigslist for bridal make-up artists?

@Carolyn72: I wear minimal make-up as well, so my Fiance was freaked out that I was going to not look like myself.

I am getting my hair and make-up done, but only because the girl I found is ridiculously cheap.

You have a few weeks, why don’t you practice on yourself? Or do you have a girlfriend thats good with make-up? You can call in a favor! Just make sure you do a trial before the big day!

@Carolyn72: amen on the not wanting to look like a clown.  i wear some foundation and that is IT on a daily basis.

i’ve decided to not get my makeup done because i want to look like me.  maybe me with a little mascara.

I wear little to no make-up on a daily basis which is exactly why I paid someone to do it for me for my wedding.

I wanted to ensure my face/make-up looked pristine for the hundreds of expensive pictures that would be taken and that would be looked at after the wedding. I got my make-up artist to make my make-up very natural so I still very much looked like myself but was much more put together than I could ever do on my own.

I only wear tinted moisturizer on a limited basis.  Since this was our 1st set of pro pics, I wanted to look flawless.   And I did.  I love my MUA soo much I am scheduling her for my holiday pics.
