I want to do my own makeup on my wedding day. I am having an issue with choosing the right type of foundation for my face. I am Asian (Chinese) and have oily skin. I just need something that can last the whole day, but will not make me look shiny in pictures. I have been wearing mineral makeup, but my face feels so oily after only a few hours of wearing it. I’ve tried BB creams, Clinique, Shiseido, Bare Minerals, and Neutrogena.

I wore Dior Airflash Spray Foundation and it was AMAZING. Pretty expensive, but worth it for the big day and definitely something to look into. My face gets oily, too.

Have you tried using an oil control moisturizer/product underneath your foundation? Also, keep yourself well hydrated!

Try using primer before foundation.
MakeupForever has one that’s popular, a common drugstore dupe for it is Monistat Chafing Cream.
I’ve noticed that powder and liquid foundations tend to turn color on my “oily” days; it may be ironic, but I really like Bobbi Brown’s stick foundation (you can apply it as light or heavy-handed as you want).
Don’t forget to set with powder.
Edit: FWIW, I’m half Asian.
