I completely agree! Who would ever think there would be soooo much drama over nails? BUT i understand bc i am going through the same thing! I am the type of girl that loves bright colors and sparkle! When i get my nails done i always have to have some kind of bright color and glitter. I was considering getting a white tip type style but instead of the white tip, it would be glitter acrylic (sorry i dont have pics). But everyone was making comments such as no, a wedding should be elegant, you shouldnt have wild nails on your wedding day…

I voted the mint green color. I understand wanting to feel like everyone likes what you choose but at the end of the day, its your wedding and you should have what you want. I would do whatever you want and whatever will make you feel beautiful! I plan on having sparkly nails with bright pink shoes 🙂 Good luck!!

I say go for the green!!!!  It will look lovely.  🙂

I am like you and always have a bold color on my nails.  I himmed and hawed about not doing Candy red (my fav color) and doing something more “bridal/boring” then I said screw it.  This is me and I wanted to be me but more polished for the wedding.  I don’t regret it and to be honest the red color didn’t stick out as much as I thought.

@Soon2BeMrs7913:  oooh I love the lace ones but I undestand what they mean by childish… it almost looks like henna to me as well… hmmmm…

I also love the sort of hombre glitter tipped ones!

I would totally rock those! They are timeless but sassy and fun! LOVE!

If it were me I would go with the lace nails. Personally I don’t think colorful nails will look so good and I think it may not photograph nicely, even if you think it looks good in person. I actually really like the lace nails and I don’t think it looks childish. I would go with that as it gives you something unique and interesting while still maintaing a more traditional, or elegant, bridal look.

The lace is beautiful and the green is fine. I’m not a big fan of the others, but they’re not my hands and it’s not my wedding. Or anyone else’s. You don’t need anyone’s blessing on your nailpolish. If you know what you want and aren’t getting any support on it, just don’t ask for opinions. Let everyone be surprised, no big deal. You’ll look lovely and everyone there will think so too.

I’d go with the lace or the ombre….the lace is so sweet, but the ombre’s so fun!

Please please do what you are happy with not other people – I voted for mint green!!  I am doing very dark poss even black cos I like dark colours on my nails and my Fiance seemed bit shocked but they are my nails!!  I remember my mum being shocked at me wearing red shoes to match my flowers with my tea length dress for my first wedding!! I have since regretted that wedding but not the red shoes lol!!

I’m planning to do lace nails and don’t think they look childish at all. I think it’s more elegant than the green nails and colored french manicure.

I’m loving the mint. My second choice would be the lace.
