How are you guys going to do your nails for your wedding day? It seems like pale pink or nude is pretty popular, but I’ve tried wearing it and I just feel like light colors don’t look good on my nails. I’m not sure if its my skin tone or what. On a normal basis I alternate between having grey or dark plum nail polish on. Does anyone do french manicures anymore?

I dislike pale pink/nude polish and French so I did not want that. I wear dark or very bright colours, so why would my wedding day be different? I picked a bright pink coral that ended up matching some of the flowers pretty closely.

I am going to go with the classic french tip. I don’t want my nails to really stand out but want them to look nice.

These were my nails. I wanted to go for something a little different so I got flakies tips!

I’m actually thinking about doing a half moon manicure in red but I’m not sure if it would be a little too much…

I’ll have red nails on my wedding day. It’s my absolute favourite nail colour and the flowers will be red.

I plan on having my nails anything BUT nude! I am thinking something from the Pixie Dust range from Zoya, which adds a bit of texture.

My friend did these the other day and all I could think about was “bridal”! She painted them like that just for fun on a week day but I thought it would be an interesting bridal alternative to nude or french manicure

Since our main color is cranberry, I’m getting my nails painted that color, today actually.

I got a french manicure. I love wearing different colors but I usually stick with pale pinks and nudes for work, and wanted something classic yet slightly different than what I normally wear.

I’m going to do a french manicure with blue tips instead of the white

ooooh, these are cool. did your friend hand-paint them, or did she use a special applique or kit? if the latter, do you know where i could purchase?

I did a french but instead of a white tip, I did blue for my something blue.

I never do anything with my nails, but since the wedding is just a little special, I’ll be getting a French manicure. I’ll be doing the same thing to my toes. Eww I can’t stand the thought of people touching my feet!
