I just trimmed and filed mine at home then the night before I painted them with topcoat– it was simple, but it worked for me.

I LOVE nail polish, and I especially love bright or just unusual colors. My all time favorite for my nails is green. Just find it looks pretty good with my skin tone, plus FH’s favorite color is green! We are having green Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses, and for a long time, before I even met FH, I wanted to paint my nails the color of my Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses. French is SO not my style, I don’t think I’ve ever had French nails in my life. Well everyone in my life thinks this is the most horrible thing in the whole world, and says I need to have “bridal” nails. So in an attempt to have “bridal” nails while not being a totally different person on my wedding day, I think I’m going to do something like this

Except green where the black is and white where the blue is. I think that’s going to make everyone happy and not cringe when they look at my pictures!

I’m undecided.  While I love, love, love pedicures and having my toenails painted, I despise having paint on my fingernails.  I’ve just never been able to get used to it and it drives me crazy!  I find it so unnatural looking (on my hand).  I might just let my nails grow out a little bit (as opposed to cutting of the white part the minute it shows up), get a manicure and have the clear stuff put on them?  It’s hard to say…

I just had a very neutral nudish-pink and then on my ring finger I had glitter on top.

probably subtle French/American mani. I don’t want to much focus on them, just soft and clean looking.

I had a French manicure on my fingernails and red polish on my toes to match my wedding shoes and bouquet.

I did simple plain light pink gel nails for my hands and a fuschia sparkly pedicure for my toes (to match my peeptoe shoes in the same shade). The gel was great because I didn’t have to worry about chipping/smudging and I didn’t want a crazy color I would regret in photos later.
