Bees! I’m a perfume nut, so picking my wedding perfume is a big deal to me. I’ve narrowed it down to two.
What are you ladies wearing? Will your Fiance have a special aftershave/perfume? What did you wear (if you’re already married)? Will you have worn it before, or are you saving it for the big day?
So many questions – tell me about your scent for the big day.
I think mine will be Ellenisia by Penhaligon’s.
ETA: I completely forgot to mention Fiance after asking if your Fiance will be wearing something special! I want to buy the Fiance a Tom Ford as he likes expensive scents.

@MrsBee2B: I wore White Linen by Estée Lauder. I didn’t get it especially, it was one I already owned. I went and tested some for the big day but to me none of them smelt as nice or were more than suitable than the White Linen so I stuck with it.

@CatyLady: Fair enough 🙂 It’s one I’ve a lot about but not tried myself.
There is an argument for using something you know and are familiar with; there’s no risk of having a reaction to it, ending up with something that just doesn’t work for you, etc.

@MrsBee2B: Yeah I got to admit that did go through my mind too 😉

Mine will Chloe roses. I’m so excited about having a wedding day perfume. Way more than shoes! I’m known for my love perfume & my love of coffee.

@Soon2BD-CBee: I’ll have to give it a sniff next time I’m out. I like rose bases. I’m also known to love perfume, so it will be expected for me too. I’ll be spending more on my perfume than my shoes!

@MrsBee2B: I love the perfume because my late Grandmother used to grow roses & they smell just like them. I’m also having a rose bouquet so I thought the perfume would compliment that.

@MrsBee2B: My all time favourite perfume is Flowerbomb by Viktor & Rolf. I don’t really believe in keeping things for best (I see it as a bit of a waste) so I wear this perfume nearly every day. My current bottle is nearly finished so my parents bought me a new bottle for Christmas. So that means my mum and dad would have bought me the perfume I’m wearing on my wedding day. I like that 🙂

@Soon2BD-CBee: That’s a wonderful reason to pick it!
@linnylou_88: Mine too! Flowerbomb is my ‘every day’ scent and it is 100% me. I’m glad you’re opting to use it for your wedding day. I certainly wouldn’t mind if I ended up wearing it. VERY good choice.

I think Fiance is wearing the same he wear all the time. As for me, just yesterday I was looking through new options. I wear perfume or something scented daily and have about 15 different perfumes. I think it would be fun to buy a new perfume just for the big day. I will probably test it out prior to my wedding day though to make sure it lasts, doesn’t smell weird on me, and doesn’t smell different after a few hours.
Any suggestions for something clean, fresh and not too floral smelling?

I will be wearing Chanel Chance. It is strong so only a small dab is needed.
Though my husband doesn’t like perfume, he will wear some for our vow renewal for me.
Not sure what scent yet though.

I will be wearing either lavender or orangeflower water, probably. I did plan on wearing my Elizabeth Taylor White Diamonds, but I decided that I would wear something different than usual.

Dolce & Gabbana Rose the One. FI got it for me as a gift, and he wears the original men’s version (The One).

- Wedding: May 2013 - Pavilion overlooking golf course scenery, reception at banquet hall
I never wear perfume, but my Mother-In-Law got me one for my shower so I wore that one on the big day. It is called “Eria” and it smells really yummy – I think vanilla-y.
