@dazydeadpetals:  Could you buy one of those Sephora fragrance sampler things? Basically you get a number of samples and then there’s a certificate to buy the full sized perfume once you’ve tried all the samples.

I suggest trying different things before buying. I always spritz perfume on and wait at least an hour before buying to make sure that I like what I have tried on.

I really like Botega Venetta perfume. It’s very sensual and at least to me it doesn’t smell floral at all. It’s a hard to describe scent but to me it’s quite woody/spicy.

euphoria by calvin klein is definitely on the sweet/spicy side. i’ve been wearing it for 6 years. i always get compliments on it and my husband loves it! i wore it on my wedding day instead of buying something new because my husband said he wanted me to smell like me.

@dazydeadpetals:  I find that I smell BV a lot more when I wear it in the winter than the summer. I first tried it (and bought it) from Duty Free on the way to Mexico. I wore it for the entire Mexican holiday and it smelled almost like sensual bare skin in the heat. Soo hard to describe. In the winter it smells a lot heavier.

It’s definitely a sexy scent. I know what you mean about winter/summer scents and this is one of those odd ones that seems to work for both seasons.

it smells so good! but it may be kind of heavy for a summer wedding. i wear it more in the fall/winter. during the warmer months, i wear believe by britney spears. it’s often compared to euphoria, but it’s lighter and more citrusy.

I don’t know if they still make it, but Chanel’s Allure Sensuelle may fit the bill! It is to die for, but I actually think the lotion smells better than the perfume and is a bit stronger. Last time I checked, they didn’t have it in stores but did have online.

I love Jo Malone perfumes. They are natural smelling and they range from citrus to floral to spicey. I get migraines too but I never got any from this line.

@sept22insf:  I 2nd Jo Malone, and you can mix them to make your own scent. Yum!

Have you tried Narciso Rodriguez for her? It’s the best perfume ever. Ever!

Things seem to smell different on me than on others (FI said Chanel No. 5 smells like urinal cakes on me, for example) so I can’t give a whole lot of advice as far as that goes. But I do know that my current favorite, Love in White, is what I see in a lot of wedding photos. I was actually introduced to it by a friend who bought it specifically for her wedding, so it apparently is a good wedding-y scent for many.

Have you tried on Ange or Demon by Givenchy ? It is like a lighter version of HOT. You should definetly give it a try !

So I don’t wear a lot of scent everyday as I work in healthcare, and also my Fiance says he gets a headache from stuff that smells too strong. He loves the Victoria Secret Lovespell on me though – so funny cause its so cheap, but it does smell great, and I was wearing it when we first met:)

However I would love to have a wedding day “scent” so I was in Chanel at the Bay the other day and decided to try this perfume – and I really liked it! It wasn’t as heavy as other Chanel perfumes like the iconic Number 5, so it would be good for my summer wedding and hopefully not give Fiance a headache on the big day – I had him smell it on me without telling him what I was using it for and he actually said I smelled really nice! So I am getting it:)

Question: Should I save it to wear on the wedding day as a surprise? Or should I start wearing it now so Fiance recognizes the scent on me and associates it with me on the day?:)
