Our photographer has told us that if we come up with a unique picture to be taken at our wedding, he will give us a discount on our pictures…This is what we have in mind…
The fiance is a firefighter and so are all of his groomsmen…we’re having the ceremony at our church but our reception will be at an old firefighter academy that was built back in 1903 but now has been completely remodeled on the inside for just weddings…so when we leave the ceremony to go to the reception we’re leaving on the firetruck…but before we do…our church is 2 stories…so I will be on the second story on the “bridge” that goes from one end of the church to the next…the fiance will be on the ladder coming up from the firetruck to look like he’s “rescuing me” but will have a rose in hand “climbing up” to me.
What do you think? We mentioned it to the photographer, and since he knows what our church looks like he thinks its going to be breath taking!!!
Does anybody have anymore ideas we can do????

I think as far as speciifc photos you should leave that to the photographer. They should be able to direct you do take gorgeous photos without you having to direct yourselves. Darling Husband and I are photographers ourselves and we totally blanked on the day due to excitment/nerves when it came to our photoshoot. Leave it up to the photographer but give them ideas and examples before hand so they know what you like!

Our photographer is a well known photographer here in charlotte, so it’s nothing like saying he’s a bad photographer for making us come up with ONE amazing shot..it’s to help him even more with his other amazing shots in his portfolio, AND heck, he said he’d give us a discount!! which we would LOVE to have because he’s expensiveee!!
He did the same thing with my friend, told her to come up with ONE amazing and extremely unique shot and he would give her a discount, so since her and her fiance were musicians they decided to take an old piano out into an open field…and let me tell you…those were AMAZING!!

Love it, we offer a Rock the dress session with all out packages just to get those fun shots. One bit of advice, make sure to allow at least 30 min in your time line to do this shot, this is why we started doing s RTD sessions because wedding days are such fast paced or think about a first look and do it before the ceremony.
