Mine was Chanel Chance and it was an absolutely beautiful perfume. However … my hubby didn’t even smell it the day of! I applied it to my neck, chest and wrists with my finger and he didn’t smell it and I was a little bummed out. I actually didn’t smell his cologne either lol He put on the cologne he wore on our first date. It is one that brings back so many memories and nothing!
So I want to ask you ladies … what was your scent and did your hubby actually smell it?

I just wore my normal scent which is Britney Spears Fantasy..I’m very picky aboue secents and I didnt want to apply something that would make me feel nauseous so I just stuck with my normal scent. He probably didnt notice since I smell like that all the time anyways lol Plus our wedding was outside in the tropics so I doubt he could smell it over my sweat..joking 😉

I’m picking between Chloe and Escada’s Ibiza Hippie. I have both but I just haven’t decided. Lately my everyday scent has been the Chloe. Ibiza Hippie was discontinued years ago, but I still have a small amount left and the scent has so many good memories associated with it.
I’m not sure if he’ll notice or not. We aren’t getting married outside so he might! Especially if I switch it up.

I bought some perfume from Hot Topic called Faerie Dreams when I was 13 that still smells good to this day (it seriously smells heavenly). I actually preserved as much as I could since I was that young because I KNEW one day I would want to wear it for my wedding day, and I couldn’t find anything similar.
I flipping forgot to put it on, lol.

- Wedding: August 2013 - Wynn Las Vegas
I forgot to bring anything specific to wear, and just ended up splathering on some from a little spray bottle of some Paris Hilton perfume. I don’t think he was sniffing me too much, regardless.

Burberry Brit Sheer- it was Future Mother-In-Law first gift to me kinda, she bought the super expensive Jo Malone but didn’t like any of theirs and didn’t have money to buy more to do the mix of scents so with her money bought this.
I’m going to have a pic of it cupped in my hands so I can always remember.

I wore “Fancy”, and my Darling Husband LOVED it! I also applied enough to down th congregation in my perfume, though!
Which is funny, because I tested like 20 perfumes, most of them SUPER expensive, and Darling Husband liked it the most. By FAR.

@sweetchiquita12: Haha who knows maybe he did notice

@adoc86: Chloe is one of my front-runners too!
I’m doing either Chloe (which is my personal favorite and something I generally only wear on special occassions) and BCBGBMaxAzzaria Bon Chic, which I got for Christmas and is SO’s favorite. I sometimes spritz some on right before bed… so it definitely has some “nice” memories attached to it. 😛 We’ll see…. I already have the lotion & bath gel for Bon Chic, so I could layer without having to spend more money.

I never thought about it, but now I have an excuse to go shopping.

GAH. No offense to anyone, but I think it’s such a waste when brides spend extra money on a “wedding day scent”. As OP found out, there is a big chance the Groom won’t notice.
That being said – I will wear Angel. It’s my special “date night” scent and FI’s favorite. I didn’t buy it “just for the wedding” as it’s something I own and buy regularly.

@mylittleviolett: Ah, that’s my favourite perfume in the world!! Even if he doesn’t remember it you will always feel happy wearing it.
I wore La Vie Est Belle by Lancôme because he bought it as a gift for me as part of wedding gift. I told him at one stage that I wanted it because Life is Beautiful is my favourite film- I’d never smelled it!! Love it now though
